Former Leeds United striker Simon Johnson has today commited himself to the Quakers after agreeing a 2 year deal, becoming Darlington manager David Hodgson's first signing of start of the new campaign. Today, Simon Johnson has dropped down from the Championship to League 2 to become Darlington manager David Hodgson's first summer signing.

Johnson, 22, is another great coup pulled off by Hodgson, who admitted the club had been chasing the player for a while.

Simon Johnson could really set League 2 alight and will hopefully be a great addition in bolstering teh Quakers front line.
