Raith Rovers face a difficult game against fellow basement boys St Johnstone. The Perth Saints are still to earn a point this year, and will be looking to do so against Claudes Rovers ST JOHNSTONE V RAITH ROVERS MCDERMAID PARK PERTH BELLS SCOTTISH FIRST DIVISION KICK OFF 3:00 PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS- Raith 1-1 St Johnstone St Johnstone 5-2 Raith Raith 1-4 St Johnstone St Johnstone 0-1 Raith PLAYERS TO WATCH- SAINTS- PAUL SHEERIN- Paul failed to make an impact in the SPL with Aberdeen, and will be looking to do so in the First Division. Paul certainly proved last season that he could hold his own in the SPL, but fell out of favour with then Dons boss Paterson. Rovers will have to be careful of him. RAITH- HAMED SACKO- One of Claudes summer signings, Hamed has impressed since joining the club. He has scored in his past 2 games, socring against Airdrie and Clyde. He will be looking to add to his tally tommorow, and certainly has every chance of doing so. MY PREDICTION ST JOHNSTONE 1-1 RAITH Despite being bottom of the league, Saints have a good squad, and are a side to be reckoned with. I think this will show tommorow. Rovers however, are much improved, and with the introduction of new assistant manager John Hollins, confidence must be high.
