The blues fail to capitalise with the extra man.....

Well we should of known as soon as the red shower went down to 10 men we would end up playing the worst weve played for 4 months.

Loooking at the 2 line ups,i hadnt felt that confident of winning an anfield derby for years and we did start ok,felli was controlling the midfield,we looked comfortable on the ball,the only worry was the way the tackles were flying in and with martin atkinson seemingly wanting to blow for everythin and not let the game flow,the 1st half was horrible to be honest,pienaar should of seen red in the 1st half for a shocking challenge on mascherano and near the end of the 1st half Kyrgiakos lunged in 2 footed on felliani and was shown red,felli was then stretchered off the field never to return and with us losing our best player even tho arteta replaced him we never looked the same in midfield,then with half time approaching and liverpool in a mess at the back,the ball fell to cahills head in the 6yd box and he put it over the bar!!!  i felt if we'd of scored then,then we'd of almost certainly won the game!!

So to the 2nd half and liverpool started the strongest and i was finding hard to believe that we had an extra man!!

A number of corners came liverpools way and the one that counted was in my opinion a shocking goal to lose,kuyt was about a yard out to flick the ball into the net from zero yrds,what the hell was howard doing!!!

That was just what them horrible arseholes needed,so they just sat back after that and we just couldnt get through them,baines didnt seem to be overlapping as much as he should,we just gave the ball away time after time.Then anichebe turned insua in the box,but instead of shooting first time he tried to lay the ball across the box and it was cut out.

So our nine game unbeaten run has come to an end,it was so disappointing as well,them lot from across the park couldnt believe they'd got away with it and with 3 more tricky games yet to come,i felt we missed the boat big time yesterday,europe could be a long way off now!!
