Philippe Senderos and Landon Donovan will be eligible to feature for Everton in Europe.
The pair arrived at Everton in January, on loan from Arsenal and LA Galaxy respectively.
And under Uefa rules, David Moyes has been able to adjust his list of eligible players for the continuation of the Blues' Europa League campaign to include the new arrivals.
But he was unable to register John Heitinga because the Dutchman's former side Atletico Madrid are now in the competition after dropping out of the Champions League.
American international Donovan is on loan at Everton until mid-March, meaning he will be able to play in the games against Sporting Lisbon and the first leg of the round of 16, should Everton qualify.
He has impressed in his month on Merseyside to date, scoring in the recent win over Sunderland.
Senderos is on loan until the end of the season and didn't play a part in former club Arsenal's Champions League campaign before Christmas. He kept a clean sheet in his Everton debut at Wigan last time out.
