Marouane Fellaini says he has found the best form of his career at Everton.

The big hairy belgian has been in fantastic form of late and he has been speaking today about how the team is feeling leading up to the derby on saturday.

"Things are going well, and if pushed I would probably say it is the best form of my career," Fellaini said. "But the main thing is that the team is playing well at the moment not just me, so that's good.

"You come here for the big games like this. It's a derby, it's a great game, there's a lot of spark and crackle about the occasion and tension going into it. You can feel the build up, it's great."

The aforementioned sequence of good results has left the Everton camp in high spirits.

"We are going in to it positively but I think the main thing we've got to do is concentrate on putting in a great performance," Fellaini said. 

"We've got to make sure we turn up and put on a good show. If we give a good account of ourselves then who knows?

"It would be great for our confidence for the rest of the season if we get a result."
