Snippet: Lescott passes medical at Man City

Everton defender Joleon Lescott has taken a step closer to joining Manchester City tonight after passing a medical.

The England international is now set to put the finishing touches to his £24 million switch to Eastlands.

The Toffees accepted a bid from City on Friday and no time has been wasted in pushing the deal through.

The 27-year-old will move to Eastlands after three successful years at Goodison Park.
