  Barnsley 3 – 0 Walsall  

Davies – May as well have been sat in the stands with me for this one. A spectator throughout, never troubled by our visitors. Another clean sheet for the lad though. 6

Holgate – Showing maturity beyond his years. We will do well to hang on to him for much longer. 8

Cranie – Dealt well with what little Walsall had in attack. 7

Nyatanga – Won every header, fairly routine stuff for the two centre backs. 7

Smith – Improving with every game. Another good prospect we have here. 7

O’Sullivan – His best game so far. Ran riot down the flanks at times. 8

Pearson – Wasn’t his usual self due to illness and was taken off because of that. 6

Scowen – I’m very impressed with this lad. Just the type of midfield player we have been looking for. 7

Hourihane – Playing a lot better since Johnson took over. Always dangerous from set pieces. 7

Lalkovic – Another that is starting to perform better since Johnson’s arrival. 7

Waring – Two goals and his all round game was good as well. Could potentially form a lethal partnership with Winnall as the push for the play-offs intensifies. 9
