Chris Townsley - Player of the Year 2015-16

Chris Townsley’s senior career began on 30 July 2004 when he signed for Alloa Athletic. During his six years at Recreation Park he made 199 appearances for the Wasps. He then spent a year with Spartans before returning to the SFL on 10 June 2011 with Berwick Rangers, for whom he played sixty times over his two seasons at Shielfield Park.

Chris joined East Stirlingshire in July 2013, and has since become a vital part of the Shire defence. In each of his three seasons to date at Ochilview he has been named as Player of the Year and he is pictured here at the end of April 2016 receiving the trophy from Manager Craig Tully, to the right of Chris.
