We at Shaymen.org would like to show a big thumbs down to the Chairman from down the road at Bradford City. And it's not just because he talks like a she-man.

A few months ago, Geoffrey Richmond was one of the leading football league Chairmen who was pushing for the introduction of the Premier League 2. This was because he wanted more money from the T.V companies.
In effect the introduction of the Premier League 2 would have cast adrift the rest of the Nationwide league teams leaving clubs like ours with even less of the T.V money.
It is no surprise today, with the ITV digital network going into administration, that Geoffrey "slaphead" Richmond is back in the Media spotlight condemning the move by the ITV Digital company.
Richmond was quoted as saying:
"Clubs will go out of business. It is a very sad time."
Well Mr.Richmond. You wasn't worried about the future of clubs when you was rubbing your hands together at the prospect of the Phoenix League was you?
Talk about enjoying media coverage. Whether its England U-21's playing at Valley Parade, or a new tea lady being employed, you can expect Richmond to pop up on the sofa with Christa Ackroyd and Peter Levy.
I know Richmond is not part of the Bradford rugby team, but he doesn't half talk some Bull.
You receive a two fingered salute for your actions Richmond!!!
