After the fine 3-2 win in Greenock the pre-season games moved to Dumbarton on Saturday and once again the full squad was given a run out as Well slammed five past the Sons.
Jamie Murphy continued his goal scoring form by netting two in the first half, the first from a spill by the home keeper the second following a flick on from new strike partner Higdon.
New signing Law capped an excellent afternoon with a goal which was the culmination of a sweeping move which saw him combine with Murphy before scoring with an angled shot.
In the closing stages the usual glut of substitutes did not stop the flow of goals, with Robert McHugh firing home and Steven Saunders netting with a powerful header.
Law looked particularly impressive in this one and looks to be a decent acquisition for the season ahead.
The one worry will be our ability to hold on to Murphy as the transfer window continues. Hopefully if he is likely to move on we can get the deal done in time to spend the money on a replacement and add further depth to the squad.
