After rebutting a move from Aberdeen and eulogising about how wonderful things are at Motherwell, the Well boss is considering a second approach from the Dons.

In what could be the most amazing U-turns of all time it would appear Well boss Craig Brown is considering a second approach from Aberdeen owner Stewart Milne.

 

For me this would make Mr Brown look extremely foolish and make a mockery of his statements in the press and media last night and this morning.

 

He stated the Well players were a great bunch of guys to work with and heaped praise on Captain Stephen Craigan – if he goes he has let them down.

 

He has been fulsome of his praise for Chairman John Boyle and Chief Exec Leeann Dempster – if he goes he will have let them down.

 

Then he was delighted with the support the fans have given him, again if he moves he will have let them down.

 

Yesterday’s words will come back to the normally media astute Brown losing respect in the eyes of the Well fans.

 

He says it is not down to money, it’s about football. If that is the case he did say yesterday Motherwell currently had more potential than the current Dons side. What can Milne say that will change his ming??

 

Make your mind up Craig and fulfil the promises you made yesterday….
