The Scottish Cup fourth round draw took place this morning and set us up with a trip to Dens Park to take on Dundee

We will travel to Dens on the second weekend of January for the start of our Scottish Cup run, on the 20th anniversary of our last cup winning season.

It’s only two years since we last faced the Dee in the Scottish Cup, and they beat us in the Fifth Round at Fir Park, even though Dundee were down to nine men at the end of the game!

The visitors went ahead with two goals early in the second half, before Darren Smith pulled one back but it wasn’t enough to stop us being dumped from the tournament.

We also lost on our last competitive visit to Dens five years ago, when we lost 2-1 in a League game as Dundee got relegated. We had actually gone ahead in this one through Scott McDonald before a Lovell double sealed the points for Dundee.

There is also the side issue of Brian Jackson being in charge of Dundee while they go through the process of administration, after he manage to steer us through the same process not so long ago.
