Michael McGlinchey became the latest Motherwell player to win an International Cap when he appeared as a sub v Australia today.
McGlinchey was a second half sub for Tim Brown, but the All Whites lost narrowly to the Socceroos as both sides prepared for the World Cup.
McGlinchey was brought to Fir Park at the end of the Australian Football on season for a loan spell from West Coast Mariners.
He failed to set the heather on fire, making only one start, in the last game of the season at Ibrox. He made a total of seven sub appearances for a total of 8 appearances for Well.
Despite this he has been included in the provisional 30 man squad for the World Cup in South Africa.
