With today's announcement of the cancellation of Saturday's Cup tie at Inverness we could be in for a repeat of the on/off scenario we had at Inverurie last year.

I am sure most Well fans will remember the on/off rubbish we had to put up with last season with the five times postponed Inverurie game, this saw me book about four different half days from work to make it to this one.

Even when it was played last season the game was a farce with roads in Inverurie covered in snow as well as the pitch. The game was played with snow falling on a dodgy pitch.

Given the weather forecast we could be in for the same on/off stuff this season unless someone in Inverness clears the roads, car parks round the ground to get the game on.

This mucking about with the plans of people who want to travel makes me sure I will not be travelling up to this one this year. I have decided the A9 is not an option at this time of year....

Maybe the SFA needs to have a look at how we run the Scottish Cup to prevent this nonsense in the 21st Century....
