Two players have already moved out in the Janaury Transfer window, while two have extended their loan periods.

Motherwell have been busy in the opening two days of the January transfer window, Yassin Moutaouakil has returned to Charlton now that his loan spell has ended.

More significantly Steven McGarry has left the club after agreeing a termination to his contract. Terry Butcher brought him to Fir Park four years ago from Ross County and he quickly established himself as a fans favourite.

He fell out of the picture this season only featuring in the European campaign under Jim Gannon. It looks as though he will be heading to Australia to join Perth Glory.

The club have also extended the loan of Everton's Lukas Jutkiewicz and John Ruddy, another move that will be popular with the Well fans as both have established themselves in this side.

They will be here for at least a month with Craig Brown trying to secure them until the end of the season.

It will now be interesting to see what other moves will be made, with Brown already saying the media he has targets in mind, with one being a World Cup player!
