Motherwell drew a blank at Aberdeen today but at least they made it three games unbeaten ahead of the International break next week.

Jim Gannon made two changes to the team with Hammell in for the injured Hutchinson and Lucas Jutkiewitcz making his debut at the expense of John Sutton.

The early stages were poor stuff with only two half hearted shouts for penalties coming from Well fans, firstly Jim O'Brien was bundled over by Ifil and then Considine appeared to bundle Jamie Murphy over but the ref wave play on at both shouts.

Gannon then looked to change the team shape when he moved back to 4-4-2 by replacing Steven Hammell with John Sutton, with Hammell looking not too happy with the decision.

Sutton should've scored twice before the break but on two occassions he could only head over, firstly from an O'Brien corner and then a Forbes free kick.

The second half was a real stalemate, with Aberdeen slightly the better side and Ruddy having to look sharp on a couple of occassions. First to beat out a Mulgrew corner and then to make a finger tip save from a header from his own defender Steven Saunders.

Sutton had one more headed attempt as the game wound to a close but in the end both sides had to settle for a point, and this at least keeps Well unbeaten after three games.
