Well salvage Euro hopes

Motherwell put in a professional performance to see off Welsh side Llanelli in the Europa League with a fine 3-0 win.

Two goals from John Sutton in the opening twenty five minutes took the pressure of Well as they saw off the part timers, after last week's embarassment at Airdrie.

The young side played well throughout the game and were only ever troubled by set pieces with Mikey Fraser having to pull off one fine save from a Griffiths header.

As Llanelli tired Well scored a third on the break with O'Brien finding sub Jamie Murphy standing on his own to head in at the back post.

This was a much better performance as the hard work on the training ground in the last week has paid off and it's now next stop Albania!!
