The 4th round cup tie between Motherwell and Inverurie was cancelled again today for the third time thanks to frosty conditions. The game was called off at 9pm this morning and a further inspection is planned for tomorrow at 2pm to see if the game can go ahead on Wednesday night.
At this stage it would appear that even then this would be unlikely to happen and we can look forward to the saga continuing next week!
The SFA don't seem too bothered about how they upset their "customers", that's us the fans. They have said today, "There is no cut-off point in the regulations as such - no finite attempts allowed.
"If this Wednesday night is not successful then we move to the following Monday and then the Wednesday.
"If it has still not taken place by then, it will be played on the Saturday of the fifth round."
This means those of us trying to book time off work can plan to be inconvenienced for some time longer.
Surely it is time to move the game to Pittodrie and get the game played before the fifth round is due to start.
