A debut goal from John Sutton helped secure a point for the first time this season, although we should've taken all three with Chris Porter having a penalty saved by Zalsuka in the second half and David Clarkson hitting the bar with the keeper stranded.
We managed to secure our first point of the season but once again it should've been three against Dundee Utd this afternoon. After being out played for the first half hour we took the lead with Sutton scoring on his debut.
Our old failing when dealing with crosses came back to haunt us five minutes after taking the lead. Smith was hesitant before Wilkie rose to head into the unguarded.
In the second half we pummelled United with Clarkson hitting the bar, before Porter was handed the ideal opportunity to seal the win. Kenneth bundled him over in the box and he took the kick himself and Zaluska saved diving to his left.
Despite constant pressure we couldn't find that second goal, with Fitzpatrick firing over in the dying minutes.
McGhee finished the game with the same eleven that started although it looked for long spells in the second half it was crying out for a change on the right hand side to inject some pace.
At least we have a point at last and have climbed to 10th in the table.
