Harry Anderson is one of three players that have been released by Bristol Rovers.
Bristol Rovers have this morning released their retained list, with three players being released. When their contracts expire, Paul Coutts, Harry Anderson and Calum Macdonald will leave the club next month. Rovers are still negotiating with Josh Grant, Grant Ward, Ryan Jones and Harvey Greenslade. Anssi Jaakkola balanced playing duties with a new role as goalkeeper coach last season and the Finland International has now been offered the coaching position on a full-time basis, which if he accepts would mean he would retire.
Anderson 26, has been with Rovers since July 2021 and has made 58 appearances for The Gas and has scored 7 goals. McDonald only signed in the January transfer window from Stockport County and only made one start with three more from the bench. It is expected Paul Coutts may be offered a coaching role alongside Barton.
