Thomas Loan Terminated

Centre Back Bobby Thomas loan has today has been cancelled and the 21 year old has returned to parent club Burnley.

Its still not clear if he was recalled by Burnley or if Rovers manager Joey Barton ended the loan himself, but its our understanding it was Burnley who ended the deal early. The centre back has started 20 League One games this season missing just one game. The Burnley man joined Rovers on deadline day and was due to stay with Rovers until the end of the season, but after having his loan cancelled he has today joined League One rivals Barnsley.

The decsion to end Thomas contract must have been taken yesterday as the Burnley man has been named in Barnsleys match day squad today.
