Snippet: Arsenal defender on his way to Everton?

The Swiss Football Federation has claimed that defender Philippe Senderos has agreed a move from Arsenal to Everton.

Senderos has been linked with Everton for a week or so now, but neither club has made a comment about this latest speculation.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with Italian AC Milan and at the moment has twelve months remaining on his current contract.

The report on the Swiss federation's website claimed Senderos was joining Everton to improve his chances of playing regularly, with a view to pressing his claims for a place in Switzerland's World Cup squad.
