A quick look at the weekend. Three matches but none of them at home!

This Weekend.

Sorry but there is not a full spy in the camp this week.

Matches for the weekend

Saturday

Pertemp Bees v Plymouth Albion
EDF Energy National Trophy
KO 2pm

Devon All Whites v Westcountry Warriors
friendly at Newton Abbot
KO 2:30

Monday

Exeter United v Westcountry Warriors
Tamar Shield
KO 7:30

Pertemps match.

There will be regular updates on this site so come back to the messageboard around 1:30 for final team news and conditions update.  Also if you want to go the travel club still have a small number of places on the bus at £20 a head. Just give Keith a call.

After Albion recent poor performance in the league they will need to get something out of the bag.

Pertemps however have been improving  over the weeks

Albion have come out on top for the last two meetings but will we be able to move forward to the next round.

They keep Mike Denbee in the side and bring back Adam Kettle to the starting line up. With Ed Lewsey moving to the wing and Emyr back to full back it leaves a place for Nigel Cane at scrum half. Richard Oxley keeps his place in the front row as does Scott Zimmerman.

Graham Dawe has again named 8 possible replacements but will it be a 2:5 or 3:4 mix on the bench.
I expect if he follows what he has done for the rest of the season he will only name 2 backs and either Wihan or Nat will fall out of the 22.

Devon All White match

Plymouth have named a very young side to make the short trip the A38.

But Ross Allen, who has captioned the side for most of the season drops to the bench. This may be to keep him fresh for the Monday evening match against Exeter United at Sandy Park.

Last time at Newton Abbot it was a white wash at Devon All Whites.

Exeter United

Westcountry Warrior meet Exeter United for the first time this season in a Tamer Shield match at Sandy Park on Monday evening.

The team will not be announced until Monday but it is sure to be an exciting match.

Expect to see many of the bench players from both matches this weekend to feature and possible the DoR himself but it will all depend on fitness and match time played on Saturday.
