Ben Surey has left the club to join Conference South side Basingstoke Town. Ben was originally on loan for just a month, but made the move to The Camrose permanent.

Official Press Release from Gravesend & Northfleet:

 

The transfer of midfield player Ben Surey to Basingstoke Town FC was completed late last week.

 

Ben had found it difficult to secure a regular First Team slot this season and so following a successful loan spell at ‘The Camrose’ it was decided to let him go.

 

Liam Daish said:”Ben has a tremendous work ethic and is a delight to work with. Unfortunately I could not guarantee him regular football and he is at the age where he should be playing week in week out.  On behalf of all of the coaching staff at the club we wish him well.”
