DeBolla signs for Fleet
Former Grays Athletic striker Mark DeBolla has become the latest player to join Liam Daish’s new look Gravesend & Northfleet squad.
Twenty three year old DeBolla was born in London and started his career as a trainee with Aston Villa before joining Charlton Athletic. Towards the end of his spell with Charlton he had a loan period with Chesterfield before joining the Spireites full time.
He scored five times in 45 appearances for the Derbyshire club before joining Notts County in 2005 before moving to Grays.
“I am very pleased to bring Mark in to the club” said Daish. “He is only 23 but has good pedigree and brings more Football League experience into our squad. He scored with a clinical finish at Eastbourne on Saturday and will be able to do a good job for us as a striker or in midfield”.
