Scotland boss Craig Levein has turned the clock back by naming his side for tomorrow’s game 24 hours ahead.
Levein has chosen to name his side 24 hours ahead of the game just as Manager’s used to do many years ago. Many always used to fear they would be giving too much away to opposition.
I can only assume Levein feels he has nothing to give away given his side almost picks itself, and that side is;
McGregor, Hutton, Berra, Caldwell, Bardsley, Naismith, Fletcher, Adam, Brown, Morrison, Miller.
Much is going to rest on the fitness of two or three of these players with Darren Fletcher not having played for some time, and Naismith and Hutton recovering from short term injuries.
If they can see it through, and we can keep it tight at the back there is a chance we can take something from this game, and look to push on againstLithuaniaand Lichtenstein for a play off place.
With a packed Hampden tomorrow it is all set up for a magnificent occasion, let’s hope it is not the standard Glorious Failure.
