SPL sides Kilmarnock and Inverness have added to their squad today, with Killie adding three and ICT one.
Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels signed Dundee midfielder Gary Harkins on Monday as he tries to rebuild his squad after a mini exodus at the end of the season.
Today he added, Cameroonian Patrick Ada, a 26-year-old centre-half or full-back who was released by Crewe in the summer and has agreed a two-year deal. Also moving to Rugby Park until then is Daniel Racchi, previously of York City, who had been at the club on trial.
The 23-year-old midfielder had previously been at Huddersfield, Bury and Wrexham.
Inverness have signed Watford defender Tom Aldred on a six-month loan deal. The 20-year-old Scot has been at Vicarage Road for a year after moving from Carlisle but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Hornets.
Centre-half Aldred played seven times for Stockport County in League Two when he was on loan there last season.
Killie have been busy as they have been back in training for a couple of days, ahead of many of the other clubs. There had been much talk of how they had lost too many in the summer, but Shiels has acted quickly to bolster his squad for the new season.
It will be interesting to see if they match the quality of player they had last season.
