Chester chairman Stephen Vaughen has ruled out the chance of Stephen Vaughen returning to Chester as manager following Ian Rushes departure. Chester City chairman, Stephen Vaughen has told the Chester press that he will not be bringing Mark Wright back to the Deva Stadium as Chester City manager following the departure of Ian Rush last week.
Vaughen commented that "Mark will never make a return as manager of Chester City whilst he is chairman" which lays to rest all the speculation that has been circulating about Wright's return. Wright left Chester on the eve of the season after a bust up with Stephen Vaughen - Wright did however guide Chester to the Conference tital last season, bringing them into League football.
