After the first round of SPL fixtures we again face Livingston who defeated us 3 - 2 on the opening day of the season at the City Stadium. Hopefully home advantage will work in our favour.

Partridge is suspended !


Motherwell will be without suspended duo James McFadden and David Partridge who was sent off against Rangers at Ibrox last Saturday.


Motherwell have yet to win against Livingston in any competition and now would be the best time to end the dismal run, we haven't won since beating Celtic on September 10th and have only picked up one point in the last five SPL matches.


The recent poor run has gave relegation rivals Livingston the chance to gain ground on us, they are now only one point behind us and only one place seperating us in the SPL.


Saturdays match could see Khaled Kemas make his home debut for Motherwell after playing in this weeks Under-21 match against Rangers. Stephen Pearson and Captain Scott Leitch have now fully recovered from their injuries and should start.

Livingston will be without long-term injury victims Stuart Lovell and Emmanuel Dorado who scored against us on the opening day.
