Dugarry/Wilcox rumours resurface

Despite Kevin Keegan saying he has finished his summer rebuilding the transfer rumours continue apace. Today brings to the surface two names that have been linked already this summer but unlike others still seem to be hanging on in there as City targets.

Rumours have surfaced on tribalfootball.com that City are expressing an interest in French World Cup player, Christoph Dugarry.

Dugarry has had a £4 million price tag put on his head by his club side Bordeaux after reported interest from both City and Tottenham.

Mcfconline believes this latest rumour to be nothing more than just a rumour. Keegan has more or less stated that Foe was the final piece in his transfer dealings for the summer, it is also highly unlikely that Keegan would be looking for another forward given that he now has six at his disposal.

Another transfer rumour that keeps rearing it’s head is Jason Wilcox to leave Leeds for City. Again it would appear very unlikely given that Keegan rarely plays with out and out wingers and also with the fact that he has strength in depth on the left hand side of defence/midfield in Tiatto and Jensen.
