West Brom have agreed a fee with Leicester City for midfielder Lee Marshall as the Foxes admit they must sell following relegation from the Premier League. West Brom search for a midfielder appears to be complete, providin personal terms are agreed between the Baggies and Marshall. Gary Megson had previously set his eyes on Preston skipper Sean Gregan but the Lilywhites would not accept bids from the Premiership new boys.

Leicester manager Micky Adams confirmed the transfer to BBC Radio Leicester: "Lee will hold discussions with West Brom regarding a possible transfer.

"The parties have agreed the terms of transfer and the rest is down to the player and his agent."

Even more worrying for Leicester fans was the statement released by The Foxes to the Stock Exchange. In the statement the club admitted they will have to sell players following relegation from the Premier League. The club have already departed with Gary Rowett and Robbie Savage for a total of £6million but that doesn't seem enough.

The club described their wage bill as "unsustainable in the Nationwide League". The club are hoping to issue new shares to raise funds though which does give some hope.
