| The Timbers go 1 and 1 on their road trip gaining 3 points in the tables to hold second place in their division. In El Paso last night the Timber had a nice come from behind win as El Paso had scored in the 4th minute of play to take a one goal lead at half time. The Timbers came back on when Tennyson scored on a PK, Byron Alverez scored his second goal in two matches off a great feed from Jake Sagare and Dan (Dizzy) Antoniuk scored his first goal as a profesional for the Timbers from a pass from Fadi Afash. The match in Milwaukee today was a different story as former Timber Greg Howes opened the scoring for Milwaukee as they went on to a 4 goals before the first half was over. The Timbers never did score in the Match as the Wave United settled for a 4-0 win. In the last stages of the match Jake Sagare got a red card and will have to miss an upcoming match. This will hurt the Timbers as Jake was a major reason the Timbers had just won two in a row. |
