The news that Forest have failed to pay the latest installment of their 20m loan has just been released- but now the club and council are stating that they have almost reached an agreement which could be used to neutralise the matter and restore peace between both concerened parties.

| After the news that Forest have failed in the re-paying of their latest payment for The City Ground- it is revealed that the club are now looking towards a new deal which could potentially secure the club a future.
Council leader Jon Collins, who was the same man that revealed Forest have failed in the payment, released this statement: "We've made substantial progress in discussions with Forest on the matter," he said. He also made sure everybody new that taxpayers would not be forced to pay for this: "It's important we find a resolution to this because the city council can't afford to be £4.5m out of pocket." |
