According to today's Sunday People we are about to make a bid for Richard Cresswell. The powerful striker would probably be teamed up with David Johnson and would kick Taylor out of the squad.

The Sunday People has today reported that Preston North End striker Richard Cresswell could be arriving on Trentside shortly if all goes as planned.

Apparently the Reds' boss Joe Kinnear has made a bid of around half-a-million pounds for the powerful striker who he will hope to team up with David Johnson up-front.
