Jack Lester wasn't always a prolific goal-scorer at Forest and he spent quite a bit of time on the bench- but he had a habit of doing well on the big occasions. A self-confessed Sheffield United fanatic Paul Hart made yet another stupid mistake in letting go a striker who can easily get into the first team of a club halfway up the league ahead of us. Being at this club though as turned him into a bit of a cheating bar steward, probably a result of working under the extremely arrogant Neil Warnock who doesn't seem to have any ethics whatsoever! Speaking of Warnock, at least he appreciates Lester: "Jack has always been a player I admired and I have tried to sign him on numerous occasions. I think his desire and affection for the club will see him as a great asset to us. But he still has a lot to prove because I feel he has under-achieved over the last few years." We did have a chant for him while he was here along the lines of 'there's only on decent Lester' but since he's left and gone to the Blunts there are no longer any decent Lester's.
