The Blues play Fulham this weekend needing 3 points to keep in mid-table, and to make up for the disappointments of Villa Park. The Blues cannot afford to repeat the mistakes of the Villa game. Rumour has it that Joseph Yobo is set to make his first appearance in the Everton shirt, possibly in place of either Stubbs or Hibbert. Steve Watson is out again after a setback in the midweek reserve victory over Manchester City. Rooney will probably start again after a good showing at Villa, and it would be unlikely that Alexandersson has done enough to merit a starting spot.

In other news Jesper Blomqvist has hit out at the Blues claiming that his loyalty was unrewarded saying "In the end though, i was just booted out and when it is this way around nobody takes any notice". If Jesper had been a right sided player events may have turned out differently, but so far this season Moyes' decision has proved to be correct, as the Blues have more than enough cover down the left flank.

The Blues have also revealed their plans for a nine million quid training complex with the facility due for 2004.
