TOTTENHAM NEWS:Gary Doherty in talks with Cardiff?

Cardiff city have made an audacious approach for Tottenham Hotspur's Gary Doherty Northlondonpride can reveal. Cardiff city chairman Sam Hammam is looking to add 10 players to their squad over the next two weeks and “Doc” is almost certain to be one of them. Although Lennie Lawrence stated that any deals on players would not be immediate.
“We are making good progress, but it’s going to be a couple of weeks at least before any deal is finalised,” said Lennie Lawrence.
It is thought that the deal will be in the region of between 1 and 1.5 million pounds. Spurs are also understood to be in talks regarding the sale of Ben Thatcher. Again the club expect to re-coup 1 million for losing the defender. The sale of these two players will allow Glenn to gamble on either; Kanoute/ Nonda or Zamora. He is also understood to be chasing an unknown midfielder.
