David McGoldrick joins Mansfield Town

David McGoldrick has turned down a contract offer from Barnsley to join fellow League One club Mansfield Town.

The 38-year-old was Barnsley's top scorer last season scoring 18 goals in all competitions and joins The Stags on a one-year deal.

He won Barnsley Player of the Year for 2025/26 and EFL League One Player of the Month for February 2026 whilst at Oakwell.
