Real reason is FFP as our revenues cannot justified increased spending in January till the new revenues kicked in in summer 2019.

This is bullsh.it of highest level merl, when you have apparently 200m reserve you don't go into FFP cycle. This isn't spending more than what you earn, this is spending money what you have made in the past. Nothing related to FFP, Stan Kroenke simply doesn't want to spend money which the club already have.. although I'm not 100% sure if the money is still there after Kroenke's full takeover.

Kroenke wants Emery to build the team on cheap as far as possible n once he has some stability then might let the new management to spend some $ meantime he's now fully turned his resources on his prime investment LA Rams.
