I think the problem Simon is that the team and matches and the issues off the pitch are too different things. Being concerned about one even are bask in the glory of the other is not impossible as some seem to want to insist. As toyyourt description of your reasons for supporting the Boiard again your reasons are based on a false proisition - that we only have two choices moving forward - the way we moved forward or spending as much and as recklessly Chelsea and Man City and that is not honest let alone true.

Pretending that if the Board acted less out of personal self-interest was only protecting the Club from going bankrupt is aiding and abetting them in betraying all of us and our trust in them including most of all yourself if you genuinely believe all of that. There are as I suggested at least three different ways we could have moved forward without doing what Chelsea or City did and still operated profitably allowing the shareholders to earn some reward for their efforts over the years without having to further constrain our ability to compete on the pitch as you acknowldge the way we have operated has done
