Has passed away at the age of 88.

He was before my time but some on here may remember him from the 60s, he was a centre back but injury limited him to 14 appearances. Later became coach when Ron Yeats was in charge.

Yeh remember him nice guy always had time for the fans.think he did work with the groundstaff aswell as coaching

Came to us from Halifax but always played with his dodgy leg strapped. Past his best when he came to us but a trier and with his tall gangly and stooping stance was always easy to spot
