Chichester Chronicle ( yes there is such a paper) reports 500 registered interest for tickets and expected travelling support to top the 1000 mark!

Yes can only assume the 90 min journeys versus 4 1/2 hours to us was their thinking. Had to laugh at the wycombe forum where they are saying “if we cant beat Tranmere how are we going to survive in the Championship” i wouldnt worry Wycombe

Chichester played not too far from me today so I went to watch them. Unfortunately hardly any of the 1000 'fans' they're supposed to be bringing to PP bothered today!
They're in their first season at this level after being promoted last season. It's the same level as South Park were (and still are) when we played them.
From what I saw today they'll come to PP to play football. They look quite a young team with good energy levels and a couple of dangerous nippy lads playing off the main striker from wide. If they don't freeze next week I reckon they'll give a good account of themselves and will probably have their moments. Shaky under pressure at the back though and the keeper's not great on crosses.
I'll be astonished if we don't win comfortably but they might win quite a few admirers.

Tshimanga was the Oxford lad who got the hattrick against us and, as hkr says, is now doing well at Boreham Wood. Nombe I think was the other one who caused us problems, on loan from MK Dons.
Not sure the Chichester lads are at the same level but the two who caught the eye were Haitham and Rowlatt, playing just off the striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Haitham's the wide man and ex-Pompey, Rowlatt's more central. They each scored on Saturday.
The club had three cameramen videoing the game and anyone with a spare ten minutes can watch it here (Chichester in yellow): [chichestercityfc.co.uk]
