Im going 6-1 Wycombe tonight total capitulation, we made no attempt to win that game Sunday, played for a nil nil and paid the price, they will have us sussed are well organised, work hard and really dangerous at the top end.

Free live radio coverage on BBC Three Counties. A bit jittery the commentary on my IPad.

In fairness just watched it back and that's a 50/50 tackle no malice and not a red card for me at all, sounds like we were holding our own there too. Think we of all teams would be trying to do well in this competition especially with the carrot of Chichester and then a big team in the third round. Shame.

Not over til the fat lady sings! And the Mrs isn't back yet! Get in Ferrier!

Really, why would we play Payne in place of RHM, why not drop Jennings and start with CBT. Sorry this team is just rubbish

Yet heβll make one mistake in 3 weeks and he costs us all the time according to some...

Our disciplinary record is awful and whatever the rights and wrongs of this specific incident the overall record cannotbsimply be attributed to poor officials.
One shot on target and a defence that will always gift a goal reflects a recipe for failure.
What worries me is that in the we have only gained 3 more points than Bolton who have played less games and for for a long period fielded a youth team

10 men...... we only need 10 men

Well, look at the table. There are worse teams than Tranmere who have been in league 1 a while now...
The reality is that this season was/is always going to be a struggle. I prefer that to us being in a league 2 playoff. At least the club can bed in.
Mind you, if you look at John King's actual record, social media would have been the same as this thread during a game. From Cr4p to Bwilliant.
I will be happy if the team survives this season back.
Quote:Its fair to say we didn't have a lot of possession, Scotty had an inspired game should do wonders for his confidence. In the first half it was a fairly even game, Wycombe are quite one dimensional, launching long balls forward, in the most part Ray/Monthe/Nelson had a good grip on things. Once Wilson had gone off it was a case of defending deep and using pace on the counter attack. Ferrier as an absolute PITA for their back line probably horrible to play against. Don't think anyone had a bad game, CBJ was good when he came on, For me Morris was MOM by some way our best player today. It was incredibly cold at the game, probably second to Oldham in the cup way back when, but the SWA were in in fine voice, unlike the very quiet home fans.Yiggsy
Just seen the highlights on the beeb website. Seemed like we only had 3 kicks and one of them was by Wilson on the other player's shin. Scotty doing his best impression of Spiderman keeping their shots out.
Bring on Chi and lets stay in the fecking hat for the 3rd round! Unbelievable Jeff.

So you do regard 'snowflake' to be an insult then. Good job you never use it.
You'll like the report on the official Wycombe site. It mentions the Rovers fans "who relented their senseless booing for a short period to celebrate the goal".
Then again, they refer to Potter's inch perfect pass to pick out Ferrier's perfectly timed run off the defender's shoulder for the goal as a "hopeful ball over the top"!

Yes there's a bit of cockiness about them, Phil, though in general I've usually found them to be a fairly down to earth bunch.
The substitution of your pal Akinfenwa at half time also looked a bit complacent in hindsight, as their attack lost its focal point once he'd gone.
Chichester I'm sure will enjoy their welcome at PP. Just looking at Twitter you can already see all the excitement and what it means to them, a bit like South Park's visit but on steroids! One report reckons they'll bring 2,000!!
