Accrington, MK, Wimbledon, Rochdale, Lincoln all lost, win tomorrow will push us right up table.

Yes, nice to get some results going our way today, but I would take a draw tomorrow given the quality of the opposition.

Is it just me, whilst Wycombe are decent enough they are nothing special and IMO were very fortunate to go in two up today.

We were never outplayed at any point. Two goals originating from set-plays (and we should have had a free kick in the build-up to the first) and very little else. However, in the second half they were extremely well-organised and disciplined, and very hard to break down as a result. We played some nice stuff and made a lot of the running; it was ultimately more a matter of their defensive quality than our supposed lack of attacking quality on the day.
If we’d been playing Accrington or Wimbledon today, we’d have done them 2 or 3-0.

Ive said elsewhere that Wycombe are not that good and i believe they will fizzle out and not be promoted

Like we did to Southend?

On the whole we played better football today than we did against Southend. We probably would have beaten them comfortably with the way we played today, so I stand by my comment. Wycombe were heading and scrapping and battling so many balls away; Southend would not have withstood such pressure this afternoon.
Absolutely staggering overreaction to today from some corners.

For a team that supposedly "out-played" us, Wycombe created very little. They were far more route one than us today and I wasn't overly impressed with them; clearly effective at what they do, but not necessarily easy on the eye. We've seen much better footballing teams at PP, but as they say, it's a results game. Unfortunately, we shot ourselves in the foot on two set-pieces. I thought some of our inter-play was superior, but just lacking an end product. We weren't a million miles away today and we can take heart from some of our football on display, particularly the first ten minutes and a lot of the second half. Just mark the small guy in the cup!

The number 11? Irritating little nuisance but the sort of player you'd like on your side.

Yes, quite Norwoodesque in many ways.
