He seemed to do ok at Morecambe. Good luck to him anyway. I think this is the last we'll see of him.

Not really a blow. I hope Dagnall is next.

Wish Stocko all the best. Hopefully he clicks at Morecambe.

He's hardly been pulling up trees either here ,Hearts,Carlis!e or Wrexham. The only place he seemed to click was Morecambe. Perhaps it will work out for him there.
Jim Bentley might know the secret to find the striker in Stockton! Good luck.

I'm a fan of Coles.

He's an intelligent forward. In the right team he'd be very effective.

Not surprised, unfortunately not league 1 material. Hopefully Cole can find a permanent home in the leagues below.

Can we afford Crouch for 1 season to help us stabilise in L1

The best I seen of Stockton was the play off games against Aldershot ,he was excellent ,thought he had cracked it ,but disappeared again ,but hope he finds his niche at Morecambe

Agreed, but it has to be the right team and right level, league 1 isn't his level

He was so promising at the start of his career and I really think that Moore did not aid his development. That said, he is not a loss and it his destination has been public knowledge for some time. Also agree that there is no case for retaining Dagnell

The ''right team'' don't kick a round ball.

Agree Dagnall needs to go ,what a waste of money ,just sat on the bench .spent about an hour on the pitch since he was signed ,not got an axe to grind with him ,didn’t see him ,so why sign him ,? Another page from the Mellon book of super signings

He needed a player who had experience to come on if need be and do a job but who also filled the criteria of having a homegrown player in the 18.
If Dagnall was to go also then it’d be interesting to see who takes up that spot next season.

Who's place ought to have been under more threat from him? Could be argued that Norwood and Jennings were so consistent because we had the right quality on the bench to keep them on their toes.

Could have played him at Crawley give him a run out in case he was needed ,but Ross is right ,I forgot about having to have a homegrown player on the bench .we certainly don’t have any homegrown talent anymore ,no one of any note anyway ,it makes you weep when you think of the talent we produced over the years .rules ,circumstances will make sure of that .no reserve teams has killed the talent pool ,

Total agree talent being lost due to no reserve team or youth team football has changed a lot in this country and not all for the better .the greedy prem clubs are to blame instant success is all they care about .sid us little boys .

Dagnall played the full 90 at Crawley.
Whether he's worth signing on again is highly debatable but I'm not sure we should be expecting anyone massively better to be our fourth choice striker next season.

Doesn't Pilling qualify as homegrown. Has come through the academy system. Gumbs also. Another rule I didn't know, is you have to have 3 contracted players who came through the system.
I think Max Power was the last player to come through and cement a regular place.
