slightly overrates him, but fair comment.

Interesting.
I have a feeling that the big2 of La liga will struggle a bit this season.
Their squads are old and neither seem in a position to spend big time.

Self sustainable is a word that rich people with short arms and deep pockets use.

You’re right weedz. I watch more or less all the Real Madrid games as they are normally on at 8pm Sat or Sun, it’s perfect. Having lived close to the stadium for a couple of years and the tickets being so cheap (I was paying 15 euro a ticket for champions league home games in the group stage the year they won the decima!) I kept it up after I moved home to Dublin. Have the la liga channel now which is great.

They really do need an injection of energy, in midfield. It surprises me they don’t think Ceballos can play some sort of role to be honest. They do seem to get decent transfer fees for their cast offs. They got a combined 70 mill for Hakimi and Reguillon. Both with buy back clauses too. Those two had no chance of getting near the side either. Same with Kovacic - 40 mill or so. My point being, I can see them saying something like 35 mill minimum for Ceballos and not backing down on it, I wouldn’t be inclined to go for that personally and I rate him. We need to spend our limited money more wisely.

Absolutely. We can't afford to spend 35mn for what we have seen so far. He's a good player like you said, but we need to maximize our limited budget.

And he isn't worth 35mill.
