Aubameyang is in the same situation as Van Persie.

After one scintillating season out of decades of defining meaning of "Sicknote", Van Persie lost confidence in Arsene Wenger signing world-class players to give Arsenal FC a decent chance on winning the title.

Off he goes to win the title with ManU.

Aubameyang is in the same boat and facing a dilemma on whether he had the confidence of Sanllehi, Edu and Arteta will "honor" their words to build a team around him for the Next 3 seasons to have a decent chance of winning the title or CL Cup.

Suspect that all terms had been agreed on except for one proviso:
Aubameyang is waiting for Arsenal FC to confirm all their signings for 2020/21 season to be a title contender and CL Cup contender to give him a decent chance of winning one of the BIG TWO.

And of course, if Barcelona or ManU or Liverpool or PSG or Juventus or any marquee team table a serious bid, Aubameyang will leave.

The joker in the pack is whether Real Madrid will be interested to sign him or in exchange him for 22 year old Jovic plus Ceballos.
It will suit both parties.
Aubameyang fulfilled his ambition to play for Real Madrid.
And Arteta gets Ceballos.
Perhaps, this may be the most likely scenario to please all parties if Aubameyang refuses to sign on the dotted line.

“The transition from defence to build-up must be executed very quickly. The team tactical manpower in the centre of the field(central defenders, midfielders and striker) is of great importance.”

To be honest, it will take us longer than 3 years to challenge for the title or the CL, or the latter can be fluked a bit. I think he should have a deadline to sign and if he doesn't, stick him up for transfer, there will be takers. I keep saying it, but if we start the season and he hasn't signed, it is a pontential for him to get a big wage elsewhere if he goes on a free as Ramsey did. No transfer fee equals bit weekly bucks for the player.

The pbm is if he drags this out like ozil, what does the club do? We can put him up for a transfer but who will pay what he is asking for? We can't sell unless he agrees to join the other club
