Either one would qualify this season as a success given that we fired Emery early in the season, bring in a rookie coach after an interim coach, stripped Xhaka of captaincy, Ozil and Kolasinack were missing for much of the season due to personal issues, expensive signing Pepe trying to find his feet and of course the pandemic.

If we can repeat the 1997/98 performance to win 10 games in a row to clinch the title after being 12 points behind ManU before X'mas ... an threw away the last 2 games to focus on FA Cup.
