It's reported that Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are weighing up moves for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren 18 Million.

How come we always seem to be linked with dodgy C/backs.

Because they will always link CBs and DMs, with arsenal as defense is perceived as our weakness for a decade. So they will link any player in those positions with us, however unlikely.

Yes i know that.
But why poor ones ?
They make us no better.
It would be nice to get linked to a top C/Back.

We won't be buying anybody, with match-day revenue dried up.
I'll be surprised if many of the EPL clubs invest much next window. They'll all be feeling the pinch.
That's the main reason I support playing matches behind closed doors.
The clubs get revenue.
Financially Arsenal are looking ok compared to some of the others, but with nothing coming in, it's not going to be investing FA.
