Tiny Totts do a "Ridsdale & O'Leary Leeds United" soon?

Can't help the comparison when Leeds United won the title and flying high.
Then, they started spending heavily as if it is their divine to play regularly in European Cup and in Europe as a marquee team.
Guess what happened?
They were relegated and almost went into administration. And still suffering from that few years of mal-investment and hubris.

Now, we have a Tiny Totts that can't even sell the naming right even as Kentucky Fried Chicken Bucket Stadium or Colonel Sanders Stadium … which I suspect they refused that hundreds-of-million offer 'cos they must paint their stadium in red-and-white1 grinning smiley

Suspect their construction cost had ballooned to £850-million and counting and they are struggling to service those mortgage loans now, being hit by the Triple Whammy of the Global Economy heading into a sharp recession this year:
#1 - US-China Trade War that pulled down the Global Economy since last year;
#2 - Current global COVID-19 pandemic will get worse before it can get better; and it is this push that will send Global Economy spirally down the abyss.
#3 - BREXIT 2020 with EU-UK spat that cannot settle a Free Trade Agreement by end-2020 that will result in another global Economy upheaval.

And that leaves Tiny Totts with sponsorships and advertisers cutting back their budget sharply with extensive layoffs and businesses shutdown in the coming months, if not years.
And how will a heavily leveraged Tiny Totts with a CL Cup player salary budget is going to generate revenues if they are out of Top-5?

Moreover, if UEFA and FA and EPL and all European and UK Government should declare that all football matches should be played behind closed doors, just imagine that matchday revenues nosedive to almost zero; compounded with broadcasting rights reduced sharply due to advertisements being pulled off or at greatly reduced rates?

Tiny Totts are heavily geared and do not have a vast cash reserves like Arsenal FC.
And we should thanks those cash reserves that can tidy us over the next 2 or 3years with the Global Economy will take that long to slowly recover from that Triple Whammy.

Silent Stan?
Hope KSE will go into administration due to his poor timing and ego to proceed with that US$6-billion Inglewood project, with costs still rising and doubt whether any banks are willing to extend their mortgage loans during a Global Recession, compounded with a falling attendances in all LA Rams games.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Well, rumour is the selling price is £2-billion and with the stocks of Arsenal FC falling and revenues declining rapidly for the next 3 seasons at least, who is daft enough to pay that selling price now?
Especially, all prospective buyers will just need to site tight for next 3 years to watch an Arsenal FC with declining revenues year-on-year and clocking losses every FY.

That Nigerian billionaire should be shrewd enough to sit tight and wait for Silent Stan to call him in a desperate attempt to generate funds to service the mortgage loans for his Inglewood project with loaning banks threatening foreclosure, and may demand "instant repayments" just to keep their own banks' above water in a Global Recession.

Tint Totts' Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy?
LA Rams' Silent Stan and Josh?
They deserve each other company during administration hearing.

I can see the point of the comparison, but neither club has ever won the premiership so not sure where flying high comes from, unless high refers to highly deluded, which of course they both are.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Good prediction Padre.
But it has a double edged sword in the fine print.
If SS gets into financial trouble with his empire, he could start to strip our asserts to keep himself afloat.
It will depend which of his club's he sees as the jewel in his crown.

Self sustainable is a word that rich people with short arms and deep pockets use.
